you were so sweet on Monday that I thought about you several times today...
especially in the wee hours of the morning.
when I was checking out your offerings on the stove and you came behind me (WITH YOUR FRRRRRREEZING) hands... you made me smile!
when I saw my shirt in the dryer today, you made me smile!

He Makes Me Smile
We have been married for close to 19 years. Moments of closeness of connection of smiles should be noted and cherished. Simple moments. Things so simple and barely thought of ... yet speak so clearly.
Today,
-while putting my chinese food, a variety of types on my plate myself, I turned and listened to others chatting and forgot what I was doing for a moment, I turned back and you had put the plum sauce on my egg rolls while I was turned away... thank-you... I felt cared for. You completed what I had started and you anticipated my need.
-while having the children try their clothes on and sorting the clothes into sizes, I looked up and saw you putting my clean clothes on hangers and on the rack. I had not asked, I had not expected, you just did it... I felt cared for. I felt that we were all working together on the clothing sorting as a family. I felt a sense of belonging, of unity and companionship.
